two meter station I kind of operated most of the day with some other people and maybe we got a record if you can allow remote contacts to be classified as the distance which you don't but if you could it would be Japan. Somebody remoted in from Japan to a home radio in the northwest. That was kind of neat. Did some single side band and we attempted six meters and I don't think that was ever successful on the radio that I had set up there but I think somebody else got yay-zoo working with six meters just at the end just as I was leaving. I did not stay in camp. I made arrangements to camp but then I decided for my back's sake I would go home and sleep on a real bed. One interesting thing from the day, just break for a moment. One of the people who we recorded said he had been visiting stations and field day sites by light rail.
