I blocked my repeater because back then the repeating, nobody really knew how to configure repeaters very well for EchoLink. And our repeater was transmitting a courtesy tone now and then over the system. And he didn't bother to email me, you know, explain how to fix it. Any of that stuff that you do as a system admin, he just blocked my repeater. Back then there was no smartphone app or nothing like that. So I just couldn't get in to do drop in anymore. And then I got into D-Star. And I love D-Star and I was in that for years. And that's where I met a lot of the friends I've got now on D-Star. Chuck and Gene and Ian and the boys.
