Now, in the past, you may have heard me speak about something called the Denver Vorticity Convergence Zone, also called the DCV, the Americans say DCVZ, I can't even count it, I say DCVZ, and it features a, the reason this is an interesting zone is because it basically features a highly famous topographical identical setup where depending on the flow, the surface winds that day, you'll have a Vorticity and convergence that emerges in the Denver area, typically just to the east of Denver, and when storms go up in these areas, they have a preference to rotate and you'll often see a lot of land spouts in this general vicinity. So, there is something that is topographically similar that occurs in Alberta and it's known as the Rocky Mountain Footage.
