There's more expensive and fancier ones than I got. Some of the new ones they have instant pressure and you can stuff you in the course. Even with mine, it has locks. You can't open it well, still moisturize and that kind of stuff. I have much better seals than they used to have. So yeah, it just depends on what you want to do. I like to make large amounts of stuff and preserve it. And I do like to use the cook for a long period of time sometimes. Although I do actually, I don't use the microwave for everything. But before the oven broke, I used to make some baked beans. Not like the pork and beans that you guys use for breakfast stuff, but more of a spicy bean mixture with the bacon
