Looking forward to this weekend, I wish I could say I was attending a field day, but the wife and I are going down to Hungry Mother State Park, which is in the southwestern portion of the state of Virginia. I'm hoping that there's some ham set up there so I can sneak in on a little field day activity after we get there. And if we can't do that, we're going to be very close to the highest peak in the state of Virginia, which is Mount Rogers. It's kind of short by the West Coast standards, but it's 5,729 feet up, which is pretty good for around here. Much of the blue ridge is 3,000 or 3,500 feet, so.
