I do it every single time. I also charge the tank every single time. When I'm done dumping and rinsing, I close the tank off. I charge it using about half of a cup of dawn dishwashing detergent, dawn dish soap. Also, a half a cup of water softener, Calgon liquid water softener. And I also use a deodorant, which probably isn't necessary, but I do it anyway, and that is a set for aquamax. I put all that in there with about five gallons of water. It's a couple of toilet flushes full of water down into the tank, and that charges the tank for the tank.
