downside to that is the sensors that the manufacturers put in. A black tank sensor is only going to be accurate when the trailer is brand new. After that first use it's going to start catching stuff on the sensors and making it think it's got more in it than it does. So you can't really trust the sensors. For the gray tank it kind of works okay but that doesn't have the solids that the black tank has so and if somebody can get a one of those ones that's on the outside that uses ultrasonics to detect the tank level that's a whole lot better that reach through the tank wall instead of having little probes that to detect. However I'd have to uncover the bottom of the trailer and install something like that for that to work.
