Instead, I spent the entire day beating myself up because of an addition error, which I repeated about five times humiliatingly at the beginning of every one of about four dictations. So basically it is that I keep my calendar in Julian dates because months and days have always confused me. So it's just easier to give the day the sequential number from the first day of the year. And I've done it for so many years that most of the time I get it right. Except on the days when I can't add 181 and 31 and get 212. Then that starts to be interesting. And then people laugh at me. And so that was kind of annoying. And then let's see, my Christmas Carol album morphed again. I have this insane desire to put A to joy of man's desiring on it. So that I have one non-Christmas piece in each key. But that leaves me uneven. And I don't know why that bothers me. Why should it bother me that I've got 12 songs in C and 13 in F and 11 in D minor? I don't know. I don't know why that bothers me. So see what I mean. I get stuck up on the trivial things. And other than that, I worked on some logistics for Worldcon, resurrected my work card.
