the city of New Castle in Sunderland, coming down right at the top of the eastern side of England, the cities of Newcastle in Sunderland, and you probably recognize that for shipbuilding. The nearest city to the city of Manchester is in a valley, and the city of Liverpool is on the river Mersey. That valley drains the Mersey in the woods. Of course, that was, until one stage, a big port, import-export port, that was Liverpool. Manchester was Cottonopolis. That's where most of the people worked.
