Never wait or do they're independently verifying that everybody that claims to be a ham is who they say they are. And the same way EchoLink might want you to send a copy of your license or they may just put your call sign through just by verifying your email address or whatever. But when you order a radio, there's a notes section on there. So put in that you're a ham and you want HamLink programmed into your radio, HAAM, L-I-N-K, and that network will be available, and then there's the public side.
