He actually passed away at 98 and for whatever reason his license didn't expire until 2014. And when I was looking for what call signs I might get and get something a little shorter, I ended up getting this one carried to shorter because I decided I'd do his. It wasn't anything else that particularly interested me at the time. So nobody had taken his license in the meantime although one person applied but then got something else so that didn't go away. So I grabbed it. Well excellent. Now I'm going to have to reprogram my gray matter so I'll track that and catch it. Yeah I was just looking in the log and I must have copied it down incorrectly the other day because the call sign wasn't coming up yet.
