to see the obscuration of Venus by the moon. And I amazed myself with my little 35 by 7 binoculars that I was able to spot the little crescent moon, but I could not use Venus. So that I have to say is a failure. My son, however, used in his little fix inch telescope, he built himself. He was able to observe the shoot.
