Okay, so years after the astronauts left and came home, the moon was still listening, right? So on June 24th in 1975, the Apollo lunar seismic network detected a moon tremor caused by meteorites striking the moon. Those meteorites were associated with the torrid meteor stream. That's the same broad family of debris that gives us the torrid fireballs later in the year. There's a kind of a neat radio connection here. You can't really see the June torrid because they're coming from a radiant that's too close to the sun. So not great for naked eye observing, but it's good for radio geeks. I'm sure we've got something. The radiant being so close to the sun, you could listen to it with radio while you can't see it, right? So for hands, you have to do some research here.
