This is a real Hail Mary on a shoestring budget and an possibly short project timeline. Catalyst Space Technologies built a robotic servicing spacecraft that will rendezvous with NASA's doomed Neil Swift Observatory, Doc, and boosted to higher orbit, extending the Swift's mission science lifeline. The Swift Observatory is falling out of orbit, but NASA has a plan. For over 20 years, the Swift Space Observatory has been hunting for X-ray and gamma ray burst. But it is long out of fuel and is doomed to a fiery death by the end of this year's year.
