This testing is helping us refine the mobility hardware and autonomy software to navigate the extreme differences across the wide range of terrain and the lighting conditions and anticipates on the moon. So it's a method, a principal technologist at JPL who led the re-subtesting as head of a economy for NASA mission concept for a potential future long range in the rover. NASA's team is using earnest to demonstrate it is possible to build a rover that splices big as the prototype and capable of a long distance from the mission. During a recent campaign, earnest traveled at speeds up to a 0.6 miles per hour. Over 37 hours of driving across seven days of intermittent testing that's an order of magnitude of 12.
