I can take that star chart outside, make notes on it. I don't have to worry if I drop it on the ground or the concrete. Like I would with a cell phone or an iPad or something else like that. It gives me a nice large plot of the eye as it is trying to figure out. I've done it on my phone before. I'm not sure you guys probably have to to see where that trail is. But this tells you where it's coming from and where it's going. It's as long as you know your direction. Hopefully it's not how to use a star chart so you can hold it over your head and orient yourself. It's easy to where the top of the particular star chart is or is in the bottom of the south of the Orient. It's that way or in this case sideways.
