Two words for you. Power probe. I don't know if you know what that is or if you have one, but it's a very complicated and high performance and add-on feature sort of multimeter. You hook it up to the battery of your vehicle and you can apply power anywhere. You can check if there's power anywhere. You can go directly to the motor and see if it's the motor. You can go directly to the switch and see if you got power before or after it. Exceptionally good tool plus the benefit is if a switch is broken and it's something that you don't have time to fix, you can just run the motor manually with the power probe. So yeah.
