And meteorologists are quietly wondering how this is going to unfold. That El Nino back then, millions of people died in Asia because of drought. The U.S. fared better and they're going to fare better than a lot of those countries because it's more of a split thing in the U.S. to where a lot of those countries, even South Africa could be in major drought, Asia could be in major drought, and when they depend on monsoon situations and if their monsoons fail, it could be pretty devastating. So a lot of those are going to go to those people that are going to be suffering that. But it looks like California is expected to be much above normal, probably around normal or maybe a little above, even for northern California, the Pacific Northwest.
