One of my friends in high school had a band who was a ham operator, Kilo 5 Lima Whiskey H-5L-W. And it seems like I recall coming out on the 40 meter back then. So for the guy who's coming for the first time on his field day, I hope that you enjoyed as much as I did. Took me about 20 years to get my actual license after then. I remember going for a no-code tech license, but wasn't able to pass the exam back then. I did want to let everybody know. I mentioned it on a couple of other nets, but I was encouraged to continue to mention it. There's a new device coming out that's super cool. It's called the Quad-R-F. It is a 4x4 MIMO-phase array SDR tile antenna. It comes with a Raspberry Pi. And what it allows you to do is visualize radio waves.
