pull it out the box, turn it on, lock onto a cell phone network, and you just take your channel and you talk away. It's as simple as that. There's no programming, no programming cables, no software. None of that, it just comes ready to go. And I've been loving mine, man. It is great. It kind of reminds me of a combination between D-Star and DMR, but without needing a hotspot and an internet connection and all that stuff. But if you do want to, you can just connect it up to your home Wi-Fi and you're off to races too.
