It's like what Vikings given what kids are cats, but yeah, that seemed to be a thing of what it was about. Sorry, I lost my page here. There it is. They gave these gifts to, mainly because it symbolized. They love cats, but it symbolized prosperity, household prosperity, love, all that stuff, because cats were commonly used and given as gifts. It wasn't like a necessity or an absolute must, but it was pretty common for Viking weddings. They would give kids a few cats because a lot of people kept them in their homes to ward off rodents and all kinds of things to protect their food and everything else, because they didn't have all the refrigeration and stuff. They had a lot of stuff to keep it safe and rodent-like that. They would give cats a wedding gift, and it was kind of a thing. It just was an example of prosperity, household prosperity, all that stuff, love, so it was kind of strange, but that was an old Viking thing.
