Well, they're hit or miss. This one was never particularly great to start with. Because I'm using a Kenwood mic right now, and I've never heard anybody complain about my audio. Well, except last Sunday. I mean, it sounds like a typical Kenwood. The thing about Kenwood radios is they color the sound significantly, no matter what mic.
