By the way, the 1 to 3 pounds kilogram, kilogram and a half, that's a normal prairie dog. Some of the truck stop prairie dogs, or the ones that are sort of near landmarks and national parks that people go through, those ones are definitely on the much heavier size of that scale. Okay, so there's a few different types of black tail, white tail, gunnison, Utah, Mexican, those are sort of the five specific species. And of course they're important for natural ecosystems because they shuffle around seeds, the irrigate, but they are considered a nuisance animal for farmers and ranchers, they can damage crops, but they're a big problem for ranchers because cattle, things that are grazing, they can step in the hole, calcans step in a prairie dog hole, break its leg, that sort of stuff. So ranchers are not fans of prairie dogs, so there's always this back and forth. But anyway.
