Yep, land is a lightning arrestor. I think all across the south. And parts of Oregon too. One time we, it was 1969, we were going to a singing band and we were driving all the way. Driving across this big, flat, open area on the way to the band. Which is in Central Oregon. And oh, they were just popping all around. That was pretty fun actually.
