make sure we were solid into the repeater. We would, a lot of us would carry around tote bags that had the proper gear in it to make sure we got into net control, no matter where we went. You know, a lot of us ran mobile rigs, but we planned for all the people that was running HDs that was chasing the storm because we knew that they would be limited to where they went if we didn't put in crossband repeats. So we had people's jobs that all they would do is get distance between the repeater and stay there so they could sit up the crossband repeat. So people that were running HDs could go around a sydmplex channel and get into net control without any glitches at all.
