Okay, so it allows you to, I guess, easily put books up there or whatever you want to put on there. Yeah, the staircase type extension does seem to allow for that, where you can put other things there, as well as a closet to the back. So I may end up grabbing that for safety since I had trouble with this first ladder. It works fine, but I didn't realize I ordered it too skinny. So I went back in to look it up to see if I ordered it too skinny. So I had no other model like it except that I had apparently mistook it for fat steps. It's not.
