People used to go over to one another's houses and visit. We knocked on the door, so and so. Oh, come on in! And, you know, of course, in my community, that meant that we put on the pot of coffee. If you went to someone's house and they put on the pot of coffee, that was definitely a sign of hospitality, friendship. But, yeah, come on, hang out for a bit. But, uh, now... We hardly ever do that. In fact, after that, at least we would talk on the phone. But now we kind of arranged with one another about talking on the phone. Just text me! A lot of people don't watch any college. Just text them. And, uh, so, you know, I guess it's so weird having a lot of friends that we never see. Maybe once in a great while we might be on a Zoom conference or something, but, uh, you know, only once in a great while.
