Well I got my first exposure to trains when I was very young. My parents were friends with net and tip price. I don't know if those names are familiar to you but net price is the guy who bought the recipe for Dr. Pepper from Dr. Pepper and started the Dr. Pepper bottling company and then later sold at the Coca-Cola for hundreds of millions of dollars and retired to a beautiful little plantation down in the bayous of Louisiana just outside of Baton Rouge or Baton Rouge if you prefer but the the big piece of land right on the bayou beautiful little piece of land and it was huge and he was old so he had installed this little miniature steam train that you know the car the cars in the back were about kid size or whatnot but he would sit on top of this steam locomotive and he had to throw in about no I don't know six or eight pieces of wood and get it lit and everything to get the steam up on the thing took about an hour to get it going and then we'd all climb in the back of the train and eat and drive this thing all
