antenna that I can use to stake through the ground or put on a tripod and just using the house power on the RV. And I have used it a couple of times, including field day last year, I think I did a couple of field day contacts with it. It's very modest, but it seems to work. And it's kind of why I got that antenna. I'm planning to do that a little bit more often, but haven't done it yet. Otherwise, in the RV, I used to have the HF mobile for local communications power out. But I'm going to probably try to venture out a little bit more with that in the near future here.
