basic service that you get included with your radio for the first year covers all of north america canada united states and mexico so uh... that's right out of the box what you get and then it's twenty bucks more a year if you want international uh... for up to two hundred countries so it'll work on that kind of trip for sure man and uh... they'd like to say there's bunches of different radios there uh... standard plus is the one that i've got coming no rf in the traditional sense just p o c over network but where i'm getting to drop in added to that you'll just be able to tune into a particular channel on the radio home crystal clear digital no matter where you are so it's uh... it's pretty cool
