Welcome to the TransCanadaNet. I am Victor Alpha3 and Emma Papa. My name is Lance and I am your host for today's net. The TransCanadaNet is held each Sunday at 1pm Eastern on the Canada Hub and the All-Star Net. All are welcome to check in. We utilize NetLogger to log all the contacts. If you wish to see who is logged in, please look for the TransCanadaNet in NetLogger. I would like to thank the B3MPI for doing the logging today. It really helps to keep track of everyone. So, before we begin, Scott, VA7SL, do you have an announcement for today? Go ahead. Thank you Lance, VA7SL. I am back and rested, relaxed, ready for my vacation on the continent and had a great time. I just want to give a balloon update here. V1EKP-1 is currently drifting ever so slowly. It is Siberian Northern Russia. It is heading towards the North Pole very slowly. It just went into darkness. It is definitely doing well, but it is going slow. And then there is our balloon, V7NFR-11. Good old NFR-11 is barely working. It is still floating just fine, but it is barely working. We think it has an internet and solar panel connection. It managed to spot twice last night, our time, and it is currently heading toward the Sea of Okhotsk. Basically, it is heading toward the Sakhalin Island, which is the island north of Japan and Southern Russia. I don't know what you call it. Eastern Asiatic Russia. It looks like it is going to do its second lap. I am going to brake for a second. V1NFR took 42 days to do its first lap around the world, and it looks like it is going to do its second lap in two weeks. We are not there yet, but just the way the weather patterns look, it looks like it is in the jet stream and it looks like it might swoop down over Alaska and head back over British Columbia pretty quickly. It is not a sure thing, but wind currents are funny things. Very funny things. Anyway, that is the update. Everything that worked is normal. All systems are nominal. And that is it here for Mission Control. Thank you, Lance. Victor, America 7, Sugar Love. Thank you very much for your report there, Scott, and glad to hear you had a good summer. Before we give the question, we will start with short timers or in-and-out stations, those that just want to get their calls signed in the log with no report. If you do want to make a report, wait until we finish with the short timers. Please give your call sign slowly and phonetics and your name when checking in. Sometimes we have difficulty making out your call sign, so please go ahead, short timers. This is VNA 3LP net control. Victor, Echo 3, Mexico 7, WYSI, Echo India Alpha, no traffic.
