Then we have the June boot. This shower is currently active during June 27th to July 5th and possesses a maximum of activity that falls on the 28th. This shower is notable and that its meteors are predominantly faint with an average magnitude near 5. However, bright meteors do occur regularly. And just a reminder that that would be field day weekend. So if you are out under the stars and operating at night, definitely look for some of the June booted streaking through the skies. Maybe not too many of them, but maybe a few. And then of course, try some meteors, listening to some meteor scatters during the week while the orated and the zeta perseeds are still active. Not as active as they were, but still active during the daytime.
