I took a class with the American Alpine Institute. I was living in Los Angeles at the time. I flew up here. I've done Mount Shasta since then, and a little bit of smaller stuff. I mostly just didn't know rock climbing at this point. I do mostly just technical rock climbing. Not much about nearing it in recent years.
