That sounds like a fantastic afternoon doing some macro photography and not drawing any untoward attention. I like that. Now I had a question, I still have my set of extension tubes for macro work and my idea was always to do it without tripod. So just do handheld. I think you mentioned that the other day too. So do you have a set of extension tubes? I do not. I've seen some people have pretty interesting setups. I just ordered a small tripod actually that should come in a few days so that I can go and take pictures a little more stable because the handheld macro photography is also an excellent experience.
