I have a Rekater in the neighborhood that's a couple versions back. So I think they work fine. But if you feel like flashing it, it's got that web flasher. You just go to flasher.meshcore.com. I think it is. Or is it org? Anyway, the meshcore flasher is a web application. You just use a USB cable and select the hardware that you use. And it's really straightforward. It's a great tool.
