and it moves to a fictional shopping mall, but this is what I found interesting. So the setting of the story is actually at the Valley View Mall, which was a mall in Texas, and the antagonist in this movie, or in this short, is a rolling giant. And it's not really a traditional monster, but the main character in the story, why he's pursued by this rolling giant. And it's actually a digital resurrection of a real world artifact. The true story behind this rolling giant is that the giant was a paper mache puppet of the 19th century French botanist Julian Reverschaun, and it was created by a artist in Texas, Kevin Obergon in 2012. And it was eventually abandoned, not intentionally, but by circumstance, in the real Valley View Mall after the artists were evicted because the mall was closing down. And unfortunately, it was crushed during the 2019 demolition of the mall, but it was a real step.
