One way to look at it in architectural and environmental context is to say a physical liminal space would be defined as having their status as Something which is let's say a zone of transit rather than a zone of dwelling So an example would be hallways waiting rooms train stations stairwells airport terminals, etc, etc These all exist explicitly to facilitate movement between one point and another Right, you're going from a starting point to an end destination There are these these pathways are essentially utilitarian and purpose right they're designed with a very specific Purpose and that is movement but they're not designed to be habitated or occupied right you're not going to permanently occupy or Continuously occupy these spaces.
