So when we define a physical liminal space, it's basically the in-betweenness of a modern space, or not necessarily a modern space, but it's a space that is in-between what you would expect, or it's an in-between space. So if we aestheticize it, what we're basically saying is the liminal space, it's devoid of living things, other people, or things that would be native to the environment.
