Alright, now it's set back to wide again. Is there any difference in my audio between wide and narrow? Anybody? You're louder with wide, and you're softer with narrow, about one or two dBs. Notice in the reverse, it's louder on my receive on narrow, but then gets quieter, still acceptable on this radio. This is the 8811. But if I switch the five mini to wide, the audio gets whisper quiet. So I'm trying to determine what is the setting to use for this repeater. It seems like both of them are working on the transmit, but it makes a difference on my receive audio when I'm on narrow. So I don't know, this is something I've never messed with before, because I just figured all ham radio repeaters were wide. Are you sure one church until they vote? That's not right.
