a gas burning insert in the fireplace that runs off the city gas which has never gone out here. I don't need the fan on that. It can run safely without it so that can keep the house reasonably. Not too deep, but the one time I had to use it in anger, it actually kept the house reasonably warm. I have a gas cooktop and I can do everything I need to do except keep the fridge cold and then the battery is what I use for the fridge. I'm good for about two days on that and with some careful usage. Then the solar can recharge stuff. Where's crumb stores? I can do reverse jump from my wife's SUV to recharge the battery. Yay, K-6-H, that too.
