the HF side and I'm just using a simple in-fit antenna setup, a sloping angle at 33 feet high to down ground level and that's basically it over. You know you can't argue with success. If it's working leave it alone. I'm a big believer in just the simple old dipole. Unfortunately you need one per frequency but they work excellent, just excellent. Yeah you don't get any directivity, you don't get any gain, but they just work. And you know as long as you've got your impact going, go up to the higher frequencies, maybe 15 or even 10. When those are open, they become worldwide and you can wet noodle and put five watts into it and work the world. Yeah I haven't had much luck picking up anything on the 10 meter. I've tried that.
