And I keep an encyclopedia of all the characters and occasionally go through and revise and make sure that the character named Dina and a bolt of thunder is still named Dina and thunderstruck, which is technically supposed to be the second book in that series. Thunder rising and thunderstruck are the three books and I need to make sure she's Dina Hollingsworth in all three, so that kind of thing. So yes, I keep an encyclopedia. I keep a timeline. I keep notes of historical events that are mentioned casually in books so that they can be consistent. You would not believe the amount of details in the starmaster encyclopedia is quite astonishing.
