I'm just on my phone using, what is it, a repeater, a repeater phone. So yeah, my rig is in the other room and I'm just sitting in the living room so I thought I'd often just listen. This is Dean, KG7 ODB. I am on about 35, 40 miles north of Portland. I'm driving, actually I'm driving through Kelso right now on I-5. I went down to this area to to visit my sister. She lives in Camas, Washington, just a little bit north of the Columbia River on the Washington side, and visited her, her husband, my niece, two of my nephews and their cat for Christmas. We just hung out for a few days, really late back. I made a trip to a ham radio outlet today, but I didn't really buy anything. Note, it was good. One thing I really liked that they had, they're carrying the full line of Chameleon antenna products. So if you like, if you're looking for a pre-made antenna, Chameleon makes really good stuff. So that would be something to consider if you're going down to Portland. So yeah, other than that. So for Darren, who couldn't hear anything on HF, one thing is I checked the S meter on my radio. If it's like S7 or S8, he's in a noisy area. There's a high noise area or if a problem. So if he's out in the woods, but if he's in an urban area, there's going to be problems.
