And just she went out of her way to respect his privacy, keep him out of the limelight and publicity and all that. And they met in a laundromat in Nashville in 1964 when Dolly was 18. And they got married two years later and they were married for 59 years until Carl died March 3rd, 2025 at 82 years old. And that was an amazing story.
