And so it was set up as a line as a line out and a headphone out. And so when I plug something into the line out jack to monitor I like to monitor from the line out instead of the speaker out it's a little fuller sounding. It was also reducing the input of my microphone signal. So I figured that out, unplugging the line out and I was like wait a minute why is my audio going down by about 6 dB? That's kind of weird.
