They get into the sweet stuff that they're looking for and they crawl in there and then they drown in the fluid there. And I found that you can make basically the same thing using just an open container with cider vinegar, natural cider vinegar and some dish soap. So what I did is I got something called chiro. It's a powder, well it's a granule. It comes in like five pound bags, and you shake it in a band around, and it's like, in this case it was the maple tree. I surrounded the maple tree at its base with this andro, and it knocked the colony out. It took the whole colony out, so that worked well for that. And pretty soon you have a nice little column of ants coming and going along a very defined trail. When you see that, they're foraging and they're trying to find something good and water. And within the six hours that I was in the hamfest, I got an ant infestation.
