The nets are a great opportunity to test your equipment. Remember, if you don't test your equipment, we can't hear you. I'll now be returning the repeater to normal operation. I was thinking about the 1980s when I got licensed, and they called the microphone the big potato or whatever. It's got all the controls on the microphone, and I've been digging and being to find how to control it. It's set-toned. It's one of those things where it's great, but truly things and not enough lessons. I think it's the epitome of the E8s menu system. You have to get really close to see where you are and then control systems. Just press this button, click your heel, spin twice, then do the choice stick. So it's an interesting radio. It's nine o'clock in time for the nine o'clock net for Wednesday July 15th, 2026 on Brooks K9 BC and I will be your net host tonight. This is a direct and social net that happens with a WW7 TSR 2 meter repeater which is operated by the Puget Sound Repeater Group here in Seattle Washington. The repeater operates on a frequency of 146.9 6 with a negative offset kind of field total of 103.5. A license hands-in-a licensee so it's getting started are welcome to join. If you have a third party traffic we'd like to hear from them too. We encourage you to press that button so it's a little bit about yourself your radio projects are just about anything else. Please let me report for three minutes and give as many stations in as possible. This is also when the repeater times out. When you finish the report please end with your call sign. That will keep the FCC happy. I'll be compiling list of stations that would like to check in and then we'll ask for your reports. If you'd like to check it only let me know that you'll be in an end."},{"confidence":0.6195436716079712,"created_at":"2026-07-16T03:06:38.983132+00:00","id":163115,"node_number":"66296","recording_id":166828,"text":"If you PROVE MY SEVERLY D literary wares charges..."},{"confidence":0.9907601410523057,"created_at":"2026-07-16T03:04:34.246709+00:00","id":163113,"node_number":"66296","recording_id":166820,"text":"I'll catch you later on, AB6. You know, every year it seems to get just a degree or two hotter. So anyway, just hope the AC holds out. It's working great. But boy, hope I don't get any breakdowns or anything like that. So anyway, Jack, how much else going on? Sipping on my cool drink and proceeding on with the hotel reservation. It's back to you, K-3-O-8. All right, well, let us know when you depart officially. And of course, while you're traveling just due to that heat and the impact on the AC and the strain on the car, keep your soldering and waffle making to a bare minimum, please. Oh, I mean, in my mind, I am retired. I'm just putting in the time so that the company can get the knowledge out of me that they can. Using the rule of 55, I turned 55 this year, so I planned on retiring after my birthday, but I'm coming to find out it's the calendar year. So I'm kind of in this limbo state. I could still get into my 401k if I wanted to. That kind of thing, so yeah, it's kind of a transition period. Sort of more like particle physics than mechanics or physics. Yeah.
