You've been having issues with it charging. They have to charge the truck to the trailer every night from the house. It's not charging when connected to the truck. So, yeah, it's a quick diagnostic. Just determined that there is no power at that 7-10 plug and looking without pulling any electrical tape off. I looked at that you know what the first step is. Just to clean this gunk up, get rid of the electrical tape and butt connectors and put a proper junction box on the tongue of that trailer and that should also fix the breakaway switch which is also not working correctly. You said so that's the first step. The second step will be to recrimp the wires on the big battery switch because they're loose.
