I got some monitors. I got four or five of them over here Damn it use them in a while so Yeah, he's he's welcome. He's welcome to one of those Oh Yeah, you didn't mention that there May might have to take a couple of them out to his place there and let him pick one out there Who knows there, but they got to watch out for Elle done and so fool for sure. So I don't know They went out may went they went on a mini vacation But I noticed that down here in my place there. It was sure when the in fact It opened up my front gate there, but I'll keep listening for him. Who knows that where it fills up to But oh well other than I'm watching the program there on about Arizona sure bringing back memories are When I left in Arizona 71 there, but I imagine that part of the country really grew up I couldn't find my way around like I used to Don't be 3 a bn a key summary Yeah, you you wouldn't recognize it even Places you know like like Utah you think oh Utah is kind of rural. Yeah. Yeah. Well But a million areas moved over there Anyway, yeah He's probably doing other things So I don't know I just just wanted to offer him a monitor at least temporary Get him up and running Until he figures out what what he wants to do Fix it permanently he might just need a power supply. I think that might all be all that he needs, but we'll have to see Anyway AK7H wb3 a bn and we got all set up for field day except we missing one antenna Oh, okay, just one of those things there. Yeah, I heard you bud about 80 meters as well. There's yum Listen that quite a bit especially when I worked up Twinkish there at the lazy K there I'd be on 15 meters there in the daytime when I got home at about midnight there I would turn on up 80 and 160 and especially 40 meters are okay. Well, I can get back to your Headset there, but I thought I'd let you know that I tried again wt.r. A B and A keys and Rach Yeah, Dan Dan Dan had an antenna and He kept saying it was a 80 meter and we we put on the analyzer and boy it sure doesn't Sure doesn't work on 80 meters. So I think it's it's just a 40 meter antenna so I got a route through the box and See what I have maybe try to find an 80 meter Hoisted up the tower um 80 meter. That's the fun band. That's that's my time band. That's the band I like anyway, AK7H 73 WV3 ABN Okay, very good there. Yeah, W-A-7-P-V-E, good evening. Hey, long time no try, how are you man? Oh, I'm still alive and kicking, I guess that's good. Yeah, it's been a while. I've had a number of challenges, but I'm doing okay. We all get them, and I get diagnosed with some more shit and make my CDL job a little harder in them. I gave up CDL. Now, I retired about eight years ago, kind of the back had enough, and they put new hips in me and barbed both sides. And they took, didn't want to cataract, so I'm getting new eyeballs. Then I had a minor stroke here in January, so I'm content just to be here and talk on the radio. Life is good that way. Come, you know, yeah, they label me type 2 diabetic. Yay! Yeah, I don't have that. One of the things I don't have yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Now, let me start to have issues where I got to get cedar glosses in them. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Other than that, things are going good. I don't know, it's just me and the wife now, and grand-cut sun comes over and spends weekends and stuff. And, yeah, it's kind of good. Well, now, today in rehab, I put labels on all the coaxes coming into the house, so I have no idea what you could cable. It goes to one antenna now, and had lunch with my sister, and that was kind of fun, so, yeah, it's a pretty good day. How about you? Hello, I'm Mark. I'm out of trouble, moving my trainings where I was, but my little people were being jerked. So, I put them on, I got a different place to store them, and I'm moving them from Lake Bay Area all the way off to Melbourne. Yeah, that's a change. My granddaughter, Then Dutters, boyfriend's grandmother lives out here on the Elmo. They're probably neighbors. I'm on the backside towards Malauk. Out in the middle of nowhere. He got to go a little ways before he can get to anybody. That's cool. That's cool. You like it better than over the peninsula? Yeah, it's nice. A lot of places shut down around here at the clock. So if you want anything good to eat, you better eat before it. Otherwise, hell, you're going to get a Taco Bell or something else. It really ain't that great. Oh, an old bow of my pants. Taco Bell's got this great thing called a dirty Dr. Pepper. And it's like a Dr. Pepper, large class of Dr. Pepper with a bunch of cream in it. It's really good. Yeah, cool. Well, I know all about the other stuff because I spent one marvelous weekend, fourth of July weekend out there in the 60s. It was kind of cool. Well, I got a beautiful view there. Well, I'm not far from the side of Port Orchard's waterfront towards P.S. and also all the lights head up over the streamline and you can pretty much feed all the lights from P.S. and that's from my place. Well, that's awesome. That's really awesome. Cool. Hi, man. I haven't moved anywhere in like 50 some years. Joyce and I have just, you know, put down the roots here on the east side. It's coma and haven't moved anywhere. We bought the house back in 73 and here we sit. But someday we'll get it paid off. I thought you got it almost equipped by now. I can't remember when people used to actually live in the old chamber housing back in Shellishan before they put it all down. You want to please Shellishan now, man. It's the mighty find homes in there. It's still government subsidized living. But my grandson's mother has a place over there and they just went through her place, moved them across the street temporarily. Totally remodeled the house inside and out. New windows and doors and painted and fixed everything up in about a week and a half or so. They're going to move her back into her place. Those are darn nice houses. I got a lot of things. Well, they removed almost all the original ones from Shellishan. No, that's not the case anymore. Now it's all like hanging micro-huzzling or something. Well, they're all townhouses and they're basically two family townhouses on all those streets. So, yeah, they're really nice compared to what they used to be back in the day. We have to make any more HF contacts. How are you doing on the lot? I know you're really supporting that new radio there for a little while you got there at least new to you, radio. I'm joined. I don't do a lot of phone work. I do mostly digital IDCW and FTA and RGT-1. RGT-Y is my favorite, but yeah, we do all that stuff. I'll get on. I've been known to get on a phone and chase some PODA though. I enjoy chasing PODA stations. I'll be that. Well, I got to take a break here for a minute. I'll catch you back in a little bit. Give some to me. Okay, you have a good one and we'll talk to you later. I hope you have some public response too. And I'm reminding me I should bring some of my FRS radios with me to play show and tell them with the general public. And I guess with that I'll throw it back to net WSSX and X. Well thanks very much Don. Yeah, the Redmond guys, I don't think I know any of them. Possibly I do. But the Lake Washington guys are all a great bunch. I think they're definitely in the running with the Tacoma guys for good people that I am not part of. So anyway, thanks very much and I hope you have a great time tomorrow. And then we had KK7, the WD Rich. Again, I hope you're having a great weekend. And that is the end of a very short round three. So let's see if there's anybody else out there that would like to talk to us. We'll take you as you come rather than collecting them up into rounds. So if you'd like to talk to us, come now. KF7, okay. Doug. There you are Doug. So what's your favorite part of field day besides field day itself? Oh, with me, it's messing around with all the radios and trying to, to me it's more technical than social. I like the social. But for me, I like trying to bring my radio out there and make it work. Okay. And a lot of times that's a trick. And you're hanging the antennas. Everything is a trick. Okay. And, but like I say, once you, the goal is to get your antenna in the air, your SWR low, have enough battery to be able to, or power to make it all work. And before you even operate. Okay. So taking care of all that technical aspect of it, to me that is cool. I like that. Okay. The social secondary, you know, but still really cool. But the secondary to be trying to make this all work. That's why I like when I go to my cabin. It's making it all work. Okay. And a lot of times every time you do it, you learn something. Then you make a little list. You make sure you don't forget this. You make sure you bring extra coax. So when I go out there, I have all these adapters, connectors, different links, coax. And I just basically start from a big box of anything I can think of and piece it together. And that is fun. Making do with something that didn't quite work before and improvising and making it work. That's fun too. Okay. It's having okay. Back to you. Well, I think that you've hit the nail on the head as we were kind of talking about yesterday night on the net. You know, this whole thing is about being ready for at-need emergencies. So making it work is not atric is the atric. So you are definitely on the right track and a very good deal. A fine business and some people that I know would say. Anyway, thanks very much Doug. Who else would like to come talk to us? Come ahead now and we'll take you to come. Joe, you're a little bit scratchy, but I think we can make you out. Come ahead. I apologize. I did not get the yaggy out. It's a little rough for me with a vertical. Well, I like about field day besides field day is other bands, including FM 1.25 meter and 6 meter. I'll be looking on FM and 6 meter on single site bands. So if you want to contact, I'll be one Bravo or one Echo. Hopefully making it through. Thank you. KK7ZBX. Well, everybody, you heard it from Joe. Well, I used to live in Huntington Beach in part of the Huntington Beach racing group. But we always did field day right down at the beach. So we had lots of good ground for our antennas. That's the essential field, so that was maybe a nice little treat for him. But I'll tell you what, it is colder up here than what I thought it was gonna be. And, thankfully I think that we might place one tonight in a one of seven WA. That's good. So anyway, all is well, I'm just thinking on trying to stay warm. Yeah, I'm definitely under-dressed for this. This year, my goodness. KG7, Charlie Bravo out here. Well, thanks very much, Robert. And don't freeze to death, please. Anyway, yeah, I'll come neither Ryan checked into my net yet. This seems to be an oversight that we must make. But meanwhile, it is WA7TV, Michelle, turn, Michelle. What do you like about Field Bay? This is Fights Field Day. Okay, first off, can you hear me and I have a reason for out-streaming. Yes, I can hear you. Awesome. Okay. Reason for out-streaming. I took everything apart today. All the antennas. I moved everything out to the deck and all the wire pulled more wires in here. And label-made, use a label maker to label-made, label all the cables and stuff. So now everything works. I was sure I got them right still. Okay, let me break. Does Dean there get a question for him too? Dean, are you using? I can see Dean watching to the fire pit. He does not seem to be listening to a radio. He's coming to the radio. Okay, well, anyway, one of the best things about Field Bay, and I haven't been up to Field Bay in many years, partly to do with the fact that I had to work on weekends and partly to do with the fact that my body just seen up to it and my wife and I don't like to camp. So those are our excuses. But when we did go up there, one of the best things was not operating. One of the best things, the best thing for me was sitting around that campfire till three o'clock in the morning, telling stories, drinking a beer or whatever we drank. And just being together, that was just so often. Just, that made the whole experience for me. It wasn't the operating, because I could operate here. But being with all the people, sitting around a fire, God could be telling stories. It was great. It really was great. How may I break? Okay, now, the reason I asked for Dean was there was, one of the all-time best things about Field Bay was gonna have, and I can't remember his call because my brain don't operate the way it gets, of course. I love it. We had a ham up there, a member of the club for years and years, called Little John. And he made five alarm chili. Yeah, and a few. If you haven't had five alarm, Little John chili, man, you haven't had chili. It was just awesome. So those were the best things about Field Bay for me. Anyway, oh, I have one more thing. Let me break real quick. Okay, one more thing. Got a call. You'll love this, Grigger. Got a call from my grandson. Got a bunch of computers call, something about a cat, even a minute or a hodge. And he'd take his care of it, whatever. So I called his mom and what's going on. And it turns out that they live down in the government subsidized housing down here in the east side of Tacoma. And they just totally remodeled their house. I mean, just top the bottom, really, really nice. And they're going to start churching in my heck of a bee to have a pet. So they couldn't afford it. So all of a sudden, he has a beard and a cat. And she has the prettiest little brown cat he'd ever seen. So right now, he's in the grand central room and pretty soon we'll let her out. She's the house when she gets used to the rest of the animals. But you'd love their scat. They're Grigger. Anyway, that's it. You guys have a great time up there. I'll kind of try to give out points for you guys tomorrow. W87PBE, I'll be clear and you guys have fun. Yay, New Kitty! I've forgotten everything else you said after you said. Said cat. No, let me recall. Yeah, so your rebuilt setup seems to be working just fine. So I'm glad about that. And anyway, have a great weekend. And hopefully everybody will get points from you. Alright, good next. KF7BSI was an I.O. Hope you're having a great weekend. And then we have Wisky7 Lima, AlfaZulu, Ben. Ben, what's your favorite thing about field days? It's Science Field Day itself. Hi there, yeah, as a technician level operator. I would like to just, you know, see all the various equipment and learn from the Elmer's. It's really a learning experience for me. And I have to admit, I haven't been on my radio in probably four or five months. And just kind of excited to kind of get back into it. Wisky7 Lima, AlfaZulu, back to net control. Well, thanks very much. Remember that you can do 10 meters with a technician license. So you can do some H.F. And hope you continue to enjoy it. Let's see, next we have K9 KDC Brook. Brook, what do you like about field days? Science Field Day itself. Well, good evening there, Greg or everyone on the net. Call sign correction, Kilo 9 Bravo Delta Charlie. Brook, out here at Seattle Radio Field Day. Sitting here with Robert, Gammie and Jeff have already checked in earlier. We've got our campers here and kind of a little big round up. Let's see what I like about field day. I like just getting out here and getting to see my friends in 3D. We like to come out here and camp and just kind of see all the activity going on and participate in the HAM socials, I guess we can call it. That's got to be my favorite part here. Yeah, it's beautiful. The sun's out here. It's a bit windy, but outside of that we're all just kind of hanging out and having a good time. I think we're going to have a little fire pit going later. Thanks for doing that. 7-3-all K9 BDC. We regret the mistake and have made corrections. Anyway, thanks, Brook. I'm glad that you are checking in and glad that you're hanging out with these guys. They're a bunch of fun. That reminds me of the part that Michelle was talking about that I completely flew out of my head. The whole sitting down together by the fire and stuff, the so-called eyeball queso. Yeah, that is a heap of fun and I definitely do enjoy it. Anyway, thanks very much again, Brook. And finally for this round, we have K1 KRT Kurt. Kurt, so what do you like about field-safe besides field-based health? Well, good evening, Gregor and the rest of the night. Yes, K1 KRT Kurt on beautiful Anderson Island. Hey, first of us have a history moment. You know, talk about the Comorito Club meeting at Western State Hospital. Before it was Western State Hospital, it was Fort Stalatham, which was a U.S. military base. It kind of was around from the 1850s and to the beginning, 70 or so. And prior to it, in DuPont, Washington was Fort Nisqually, which was a Hudson's Bay, trading fort, and the two of them kind of worked with each other until we were no longer part of the Britain. And they transferred things over. Let me break here. And after that history moment, my favorite part of field day is, you know, in any of our club activities that we do on the island here, I always bring a handful of FRS walkie-talkies, and I love to interact with kids. And anytime a kid comes by the table, I say, hey kid, why don't walkie-talkie. You know, and I put on the walkie-talkie like cats and dogs, and I spelled them out philatically. I said, hey, go around the corner there or go down the field and call me. And so they would call me and say, this is Charlie Alpha Tango, and I respond back. So I feel like I'm planting some seeds. So I like some of the little things that we do besides radio contacts. This is a K1KRT back then that. Yeah, that is a great practice, kudos to you for doing that. And thanks for the history lesson. I actually went to what was then called Fort Sullicom's Community College for a couple of years, way back when, and was just up the hill from the Western State Hospital, which was, I think it got closed during the time I was there, if I remember correctly. I don't really remember though. Anyway, thanks very much Kurt. And alright, that ends round two. We would like to come and talk to us in round three. That's on W6, S-V-N-X."},{"confidence":0.5089221298694611,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:17:45.522137+00:00","id":125551,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125550,"text":"W7NDE"},{"confidence":0.5326931178569794,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:15:43.685000+00:00","id":125550,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125549,"text":"Subscribe."},{"confidence":0.7136667370796204,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:15:32.805884+00:00","id":125549,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125548,"text":"O-A-R-S Repeater System NT-7H"},{"confidence":0.7135713398456573,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:11:47.179148+00:00","id":125548,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125547,"text":"Well, good evening. So, I'm gonna head home and sleep with my own bed. How about that? That certainly sounds like a... ... proper approach. I'm gonna try something here. Oh. Alrighty. What time are you planning on getting there in the morning? Probably be there about 7 or 8 o'clock. I need to finish setting up, at least, uh, my radio. But, uh... ... I don't know. So, I kinda want to... ... I told, uh... ... don't care I'd be there, probably between 7 and 8, have a cup of coffee with him. Instead of a roll, that type of stuff. Okay. Thanks for coming over here. All right, um, let's go line here. Um, let's see, and we will go back up to Kilo Kilo 7 November Yankee Whiskey Dave, probably hanging out with the Tacoma guys. How's your night going and what's your favorite part of field day? The science field day. Well, good evening, Gregor. This is Dave KK7NYW. Got home in Bonnie Lake. I had to make a trip to the airport today to pick my daughter up after assembling the giant operators tent down at Western State Hospital. So I came home tonight. Um, they have a 30 by 20 foot tent that they put four or five operator stations in and then spread the antennas out around it. And, um, I got the distinct pleasure of almost leading the assembly of it, although I had never put it together before. And, uh, that was entertaining. I ended up with a crew of about, I don't know, maybe eight or 10 teeth. And I ended up being the only Indian, I think. But anyway, we got it up. We had a couple of really good schools come through. And, um, luckily we had to turn up before the rain really hit. But somebody forgot to bring the stakes for staking it down. And so there was a bunch of us that had to stand around and hold this tent down from trying to fly away while somebody ran back to the clubhouse to find the bucket of stakes. So that was fun. Um, and, uh, we got it all staked down and it actually looks pretty good. I come up with a couple of ideas to improve it for next year. So they will get worked on tomorrow. And, um, in my drive up to the airport, I came to the conclusion that I think the radio call up Tacoma has reached the really flying stage of figuring out the right place to do the craziness that is field day. And that's at a mental health institution. This is KK7NYW. I think you might be onto something. Too bad you didn't put up two of them because then you'd be intent. Um, anyway, glad it went up. Okay. And that, uh, it didn't blow over before you managed to get the stakes in. Um, anyway, I hope you guys are having a great time and, uh, I'm glad you were able to go to the airport. Okay. And I'm sure you'll have a great time tomorrow. Thanks very much, Dave. Um, let's see. Next we have whiskey seven Romeo Oscar Victor Rod. Come ahead. Hey, this is whiskey seven Romeo Oscar Victor. Hi Gregor. Thanks for letting me into the net. And thanks for helping me out yesterday. And, uh, the, the pot, like I've got to tell you, was really, really good. You know, like Rob, Rob came up to help us and, uh, he didn't know, he thought we were going to have a, uh, share of Canada dindy bores stew. Yeah, y'all said maybe. Yeah. And I also said maybe, but the, the food was fantastic. There is lots of it. Uh, burgers, uh, Polish sausages, salads, um, fish. And there's, there are fish, salmon. So we, we, we, once again, outdid ourselves. And, um, it has rained here, but not terribly. We have, we've had a couple showers and like right now the Oregon mist is out. And last night it got going to 58 degrees. So it was cool and it is cool now, but, uh, I just checked the weather and it's supposed to be, chance of rain tomorrow. 30%. So we're, I think it's going to work out pretty well. We got the 20 meter, uh, yoggy up. We got, uh, uh, Georgia's go to step by our up. Dean is fully up and ready to go. And, uh, if you guys have never seen a mistro in, uh, in, uh, throwing up antennas at field day, you got it. You just, you got to come here, pull up a chair and watch Dean. I think Jeff was helping him. Uh, KF, K7 FM, uh, today, I think that's right, Jeff. Sorry if I messed that up, but, uh, so, uh, yeah. And watched in, uh, throw up, uh, the mass and stuff. And now, uh, since Rob had, doesn't have his, uh, call sign, he was my guest and, uh, and hopefully he'll join the Mike and Key and become part of the, the wildness we are. So, uh, and, you know, I, I was amazed when he drove up and said, uh, uh, we introduced ourselves and he says, I heard you on the radio last night and said you needed help. So here I am. So the rest is history. So there's quite a few people here at the wagon wheels. It's really, you know, filled out. So, uh, if you have a chance, you guys come up tomorrow. I don't think the weather's going to be terrible. So, um, and, uh, that's, that's, uh, oh, I have to say, Gregor, back to you with the 7 Romulasker Victor in 73. Well, thanks very much, uh, uh, Ron. You didn't answer my question though. Uh, what do you like besides field day? Um, what do I like besides just being here and playing with the radio? I think, I think, uh, Frank, summed it up as the camaraderie, the, uh, the working together attitude, the, you know, the people are just fun. Um, and, uh, you know, it's, and, and the weather's always a wild card. So, dress, dress for the extreme and, you know, if it's, if it's not wet and cold, then it's good. So, uh, and it's also, uh, like I was, uh, George was showing up to go to station and, uh, he's got his go to set get on the radio. That's for, um, people that haven't keyed their HF mic for at least six months. But it's a, it is all aircraft high end equipment in it. It's just stunning, you know, it makes my 991A look like a walkie-talkie. So, so, um, you get to see all the sorts of different radios, you get to see the different antennas, uh, you get to log the, uh, the information, see the fort, look at the shipping through Admiral Tienlet. Um, the rangers are great and, uh, you know, it's just, the radio camp is great fun. The food's good. And, you know, what can I say? So, uh, that's, that's a total package. Back to you, Greg, you're with the 7-Romeo-Master Victor. Oh, I totally thought the alligator was going to bike to there. You were going on. But, uh, you are right about every single thing that you said. And I keep hearing about George's go to tent. I wish I was there to see it. Uh, I sure like, um, look, like, uh, looking at Phil's, uh, flex radio, uh, when I was there, uh, a previous time. Um, anyway, uh, so, uh, now, uh, it's Rob's turn in the, in the actual list. So, uh, Rob, you got anything to add now? Oh, sure. Yeah, I do. This guy's, uh, this is a great bunch. Uh, been laughing more than I was laughing my normal wife today. Uh, it's really fun, you know. And I started this all because I was interested in quota. I thought that's what I'm going to do. You know, I really like the age of the mystery of the antenna and propagation and, uh, skipping. And, uh, here I am with these giant antennas around me. It was very nice. And everybody is so friendly here. This is fantastic. I think I found my home."},{"confidence":0.9050749018788338,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:08:00.614288+00:00","id":125543,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125542,"text":"AB 7I, I'm the Air Mobile."},{"confidence":0.947237741202116,"created_at":"2026-06-27T03:08:00.318124+00:00","id":125542,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125541,"text":"I see some crackling and then you go away. So I guess we'll just see what people want to say about... Actually, I got one. I got one. Start with Frank. Frank, what's your favorite thing about Field Day that isn't Field Day itself? Come ahead, Frank. This is NA-70, Frank. Oh, probably the different foods to show up. Some people have some really neat stuff. This is an A-70. A-E-7X I like. Thanks very much, Frank. I sure like the foods too. A-E-7X I like. Come ahead and tell us what you like about Field Day other than Field Day. Well, good evening and greetings from CW Beach, which is where I'm currently parked. Although I'm about to go back up to the main Wagon Wheel campsite. But we had a really great day here setting up for Field Day starting tomorrow. I'm looking at the incredible 80-meter vertical that is going to be put to use tomorrow evening, I think. Anyway, it's been a really great day up here. I'll be doing a little bit of time helping to put up some of the stuff up on the bluff. It did not rain as expected. I was expecting to be putting up antennas in the pouring rain today based on the forecast. That didn't happen. To tell you the truth, there's lots of things I like about Field Day besides just the event itself. I think one of the biggest ones is I get to see a lot of people with expertise playing their craft and showing me things that I had no idea that's how this thing worked. For instance, down here at the CW set up, they put up a set of phased verticals that are going to be used to really magnify the signal going up over the saltwater. Apparently, that's one of the reasons the station every year has such a great signal. Just learning about things like that, I wasn't really too familiar with how that kind of antenna system works and gets set up. It's really inspiring and it's also making me want to experiment with some of that stuff myself. Quick drop. Just another quick example of that is Dean was showing me his massive 40-meter wire yaggies that he put up. I was extremely impressed. I had no idea how those worked. Seeing him explaining to me and seeing them in action and seeing how big they are, I never would have thought to try to put something up like that myself. But now that I was up on the bluff and he was showing me how it worked, I'm thinking, man, I can maybe put something like that up and it might be really fun to experiment with. Getting to rub shoulders with all these people who really know what they're doing is one of the big reasons I really like Field Day. That will send it back to you. Thanks for doing the net. 87xX. Thanks very much, Mike. I had a question of did the potluck come up and happen already and how was it if it did? Yes, the potluck was a huge success. We had all sorts of different food from taco bar to rice and chili with hot dogs, hamburgers. I brought a shared food replay with salami and cheeses. I think a big hit, everyone got fueled up and like I was saying, it's dinner tonight. We got a fuel up to make all those contacts tomorrow so I think it went really well and I think everyone had a great time. 87xX. Thanks again. I have to admit, I'm not... I should say I am ashamed to admit it, but Dean had to wipe off his 40 meter antenna array because I drooled all over it. I love it that much. Anyway, let's see. Moving on from that embarrassment. Let's move on to Casey1 I like just the camaraderie of everybody there. I find everybody is helpful. I think everybody is very thoughtful and willing to give information and show what they have for equipment. I just think the whole thing is just awesome. Anyway, that's about all I got for the moment. Casey1, B.A.U. That is absolutely too frank and let me say that you get that same feeling at Winterfield Day and to be honest, I carry those off throughout the year. It's almost like the Christmas spirit and Scrooge and all that sort of thing. Anyway, let's see. Next we've got KJ7, R.A.B. Cammy. Cammy, before I let you talk, I just said yesterday that you and Sheila should put together a book of all the good restaurants on the north end. I think that would be an excellent book. Anyway, come ahead, Cammy. Well, good evening to you, Gregor and everyone out there on the neck. Cammy here, KJ7, R.A.B. It's so funny that you should mention Sheila because I was going to mention Sheila. She made me what is perhaps maybe one of the coolest things on the whole wide world on her 3D printer. It's a gadget that I showed to her. She printed it for me and sent it to me in the mail. So, Sheila, if you're listening, thank you so much. And what it is, it's a little tray that holds sticky pads, but it has these set of templates where you can draw lines on your sticky notes or make different sections on your sticky notes or make lines with little checkboxes. If you're a checkbox person like me, holy moly, it's revolutionary, it's life-changing and it's pink. And so I put bright green sticky notes in it. It is the coolest thing in the whole wide world. I'm thrilled to pieces. I can't wait to write a whole bunch of sticky notes. And what I like about field day, other than field day, I don't know, like just the whole, the whole, all the things. You know, like we're hanging out with a bunch of awesome cam radio friends. We've all got our station managers here. We've got our trailers. It's not the most picturesque place to camp in the whole world, but it's not about the spot. It's about the people that we're with and what we're doing. So, and that makes it all awesome. Thanks so much for hosting. As always, thanks for getting us in. Thanks for everything that you do. We really appreciate you. KJ7, RAB, back to net control. Thanks so much, Cami. And, yeah, you know, Dean gets lionized quite a bit and rightfully so, I will say. But, you know, right up there with him is Sheila, and he likes to think of a more backseat to things and be in the shadows, but she is effective in those shadows, I will say. All right, let's see. Now, let's back up to KJ7, JXM, Robert. Robert, what do you like best about field day, other than field day? Well, good evening, good evening to net. This is KJ7, JXM, Robert. And I have to say, it's the hanging out in the parking lot with all of our like-minded folk and having, you know, fun. I always like to chuckle because there's always an adult beverage or two here in the college parking lot. And don't tell anybody though. I don't know if that's allowed here on college grounds, but, you know, we brown baggater or solo cup, so they don't know what's going on. You know what I'm saying? Just playing radio. I mean, you know, it's a lot of fun. And every year I've been for, I think this is my fourth year now. I'll be hosting a SWAT meet here as well. So, I have a lot of fun with that. It allows me to get, you know, get geared to folks. And just like, you know, the infamous Mike and Key SWAT meet, I'm able to get rid of stuff and re-home it. So, you know, it's one of those joys that I have with radio and everything else. So, hanging out with folks that thankfully the weather's... I mean, right now it's beautiful. Gorgeous sunshine. There's plenty of blue sky. And it's just right. It's a little extra windy, but, you know, we can deal with that. Where we're set up, we've got a couple handicaps that we're able to tie our awnings off to, which is a good thing because it's really hard to drive the stakes into the concrete. It just, it doesn't work very well. So, again, thanks for doing it. You do my friends. Very much appreciate you. And hope you all are having a fantastic weekend. This is KJ7JX. And, clear, back to you, my friend. Man, you're making it sound so fun that I'm gonna have to double think going to Fort Flagler in the future. That sounds like a heap of fun. Let's see the swap meet. The baby swap meet is the key draw. But, yeah, I guess nobody ever guesses what might be in a red solo cup. But, yeah, and then finally hammering stakes into the concrete. Not easy and definitely frowned upon. Anyway, thanks very much, Robert, and continue to have a good time. All right, let's sneak down to N7 your hm, Mike. Mike, you're supposed to be running the digital set. What are you doing? I haven't ran the digital tent for a couple years now. I'll let somebody else take that over. How about that? So, there you go. Somebody's doing anything better than I was doing it. How about that? At least they wanted to do it bigger and better. So, you know, you know, and here as you're saying, I'm, as everybody else here is saying, this is the thing I like about Field Day the best. And, you know, we're actually literally all standing around in a Brooks' radio using the community radio right now. And all that good stuff. And, you know, so, trust a good time. You know, our station managers are all, station managers are all getting along, which is actually kind of a good time. You know, and, yeah, good time out here. And, yeah, I need to get back out to Fort Flagg one of these times. I need to get my key little award out there. I'm like, six, seven hundred into it. You know, just the time I've been out there. So, yeah, anyways, yeah. Hope he's having a good, has a good Field Day. Hope he's having a good night. My love, good stuff. And, you forgot to talk about the cops tonight, you know. So, anyways, that's all in our story. Anyways, back to you there. Have a good evening. And, seven-year-age. Oh, thanks, Mike. Sorry to get on your case. I shouldn't have done that. Definitely, you did a good job when you were running the Digital Sense. So, no shade should go your way. And, yeah, I've been calling Cammy over Robert lately because Robert says a bunch of stuff, and then Cammy comes on and says, yeah, that's all you get the air from her. So, I wanted to hear more. And, Robert still has plenty of stuff to say even after Cammy talks. So, it's all good. And, I hope you're having a great time too, Mike. Anyway, thanks very much. And then K8YFR. I don't think you've been in our net before, but come ahead nonetheless, and don't be a stranger in the future. Yeah, good evening, everyone. This is Jeff, K8YFR, and you are correct there. Not a frequent person to get into the nets up north as I'm down in Thurston County. So, I think for me, what I enjoy is already been shared, the camping, the camaraderie, the folks, the solo cups, all of that fun stuff. But also, I get a chance to get into nets that I don't normally get into down in the Olympia area. So, I've heard good things about the Fort Flagler Field Day stuff. So, I was talking to me about it last week, and this is the first time I'm getting up to the PSR-G Field Day. So, for me, everything is new and fun. And, yeah, as Cammy would say, all of the things that have been shared previous still apply. Thank you for running the net, and I hope everybody has a good field day this weekend. K8YFR. Well, thanks very much. Back at you to have a good field day, and we get several people from Olympia that check in. Hopefully, if you gave it a try, you might be able to reach us. So, at least try to not be a stranger. Thanks again. And do have a good time. And finally, for round one, we've got KK7B and R. David, who finally snuck in there at the end. Come ahead, David, and tell us what you like about Field Day. Oh, they're not Field Day itself. Evening, Greg, and everybody listening. Well, this will only be my second Field Day, so I don't know a happy opinion of that yet. Last year, I was up to my eyes doing stuff at home, and then I didn't make it out very much on Field Day. I think I had a couple of contacts at home. This year, I don't know if I'm going to make it out either. I've been stopped in the face a hundred times by my child asologist, so I kind of look a bit scary right now, so I prefer not to scare people with my oleamugs. So, we shall see what the morning bahouls for me, I suppose. My wife and my kids are going out tomorrow, so I will be able to do my own thing. So, I haven't made my mind up yet. I will see in the morning how well I sleep overnight. The thing I did enjoy last year was just that they share a lot of people on how joyous they all sounded. Unless people can be a bit, maybe a bit weary of times, or we're talking with the weather or something, but last year, they're all out and about having some fun. I burst into a number of people on two meters and they were all off in the fun, so it was great to hear people out there and having a bit of crack as the others say. And I'm super glad it's Friday. Yeah, I have to figure out what I want to do this weekend. Maybe I might call it a local park or something. I didn't know. I was very tired. I will figure out the morning, not too hard, but I do have a home radio job tonight. But today, it was super windy and that was never fun to be able to roof on its windy, so I'm not going to do that anyway. Alright, great here. I will send it back to you at the 7th of November. Yes, please do not go on the roof in the windy. I do not want to hear that you got blown off. Yes, so, well, as field days come and go, I'm sure you will create more of an opinion for yourself, and I'll try to remember to ask next year. Alright, thanks very much, David, and I hope that you managed to do something anyway. And let's go on into round two. So, give me your call sign and name. Two more steps up in the bus, and thank you, Chris. Mode at Fort Flagler, with a guest. Oh, hang on, steady-key person who just tried to check in. So, it sounded like we had Ross after Dave. Ross was that you? It's a Roger Roger, and I have a guest. I'm a fuel-jurious, selling Charlie Bromhor. So, Robert, are you Ross's guest, or is Ross still got a different guest? Negative, he has a different guest, but I haven't heard him check in yet. Well, Ross, put your, um, says your friend to have a call sign. Now, this is Rob. I don't know what's your last name? Rob Nordstrom. And he just passed his technician in general license on Thursday, and he doesn't have a call sign yet, so he's my guest. And I'll let him tell you the story of how he got here. So, here's Rob. Hi, everybody. This is Rob, and I've been listening to your net for several days, and yesterday was the day Ross said, I know you people are out there, but why don't you come and help us? We're going to need some help. And I said, do you know what? I'm coming out, and here I am. You've been listening to us for several days, and you weren't scared off. That's amazing. Anyway, thanks Rob, and hope that you get your call sign real soon. Usually they give them out on Fridays or Mondays, as I recall, so maybe you'll see it Monday. Anyway, we're still taking chickens though, so if you'd like to be on the Round Two check-in list, come ahead. W-A-7-B-E-B-E. Yeah, that would be a fire. I got Kilo Fox 7 Bravo, what was the rest of the suffix? Bravo Sierra India. I'm just turning it out. Can I get a handle to put down on the spreadsheet? Here's Ray Romeo off my Yankee."},{"confidence":0.5,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:52:21.883606+00:00","id":125524,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125523,"text":""},{"confidence":0.6738103032112122,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:48:37.302089+00:00","id":125523,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125522,"text":"O-A-R-S Repeater System NT7H"},{"confidence":0.8833135217428207,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:38:40.482240+00:00","id":125513,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125512,"text":"November, angle 7 hotel repeater"},{"confidence":0.894240387503735,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:34:28.024488+00:00","id":125512,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125511,"text":"Well, nothing heard who'd like to be after Mike. You can tell us about your day, projects or reason activities you've done or anything else of interest. Emergency traffic is of course welcome to break in at any time! This net is held on the Mike and Keith repeater at 146.82 megahertz with a standard negative offset and a PL tone of 103.5. We have a couple of reminders, try to keep your report to around 3 minutes but we're not sticklers for that. But realize that the repeater also has a time out of 3 minutes. So if you need your break in the middle of your report feel free to do so. There is no penalty for timing out the repeater except we might miss what you're saying and snicker. Second, please end your report with your call sign. This will keep the FCC from squatting your house and or giving you a big fine. When you need to reset the repeater, release the push to talk and you will hear this tone. The twice apparently. I'm going to build rounds of 5 to 7 check-ins and then run the list for each round. If you'd like to check in but do not want to give a report please let me know that you are in and out or I owe. We welcome rechecks so if you have additional information to report feel free to recheck in a later round. So with that said let's go ahead and take check-ins. All you need is your call sign and name, one at a time and no tailgating. Remember Alpha 7 Oscar? There was a horrible crash and then Frank snuck in right after. So who was in the crash? Alpha Echo 7 X-ray India. Alright we got Mike Cloth was in the crash."},{"confidence":0.8860490024089813,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:32:59.559354+00:00","id":125509,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125508,"text":"Hey, I'm Kevin Lough, JK, I think it's AWR."},{"confidence":0.11398136615753174,"created_at":"2026-06-27T00:57:11.380479+00:00","id":125448,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125449,"text":"Bye!"},{"confidence":0.11398136615753174,"created_at":"2026-06-27T00:56:52.075662+00:00","id":125447,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125448,"text":"Bye!"},{"confidence":0.11398136615753174,"created_at":"2026-06-27T00:55:56.622387+00:00","id":125446,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125447,"text":"Bye!"},{"confidence":0.11398136615753174,"created_at":"2026-06-27T00:55:56.404159+00:00","id":125445,"node_number":"SDR9494","recording_id":125446,"text":"Bye!"}]}
