First off, my wife and I used to ride and hey, you know, we had microphones and earphones in our helmets and pushed the talk button on the handlebar and we checked in motorcycle mobile on a number of occasions so just because you're on a bike doesn't say that you can't check in so you might look into getting some of the equipment that's required to do that and it worked out really well. We found one for our Icom Handy Talkies that was just a plug-in thing and it's got a connector that you plug your helmet in and yeah, you rock and roll. You're good to go and it's got a little wired in press to talk button that goes on the handlebar. So there you go. And then we could chitchat back and forth as well. On Simplex when we were on rides we'd be able to chitchat back and forth. Not a lot happening. My beloved was at a meeting tonight and so was talking to someone on the phone, and then I was reading a book, and then I missed the beginning of the net. So here I am. Worked on some scenes, so I keep going. This is a book that's being written like a jigsaw puzzle, So I keep going back to the beginning, you know, write a scene and how do you teach a planet-raised person to be aware of the importance of environmental control in space? And her, one instructor in her, her flight school has this barbaric way of doing it, which is to, you know, put them in an environmentally controlled chamber and slowly raise the carbon dioxide level until they notice that something's going wrong and this is the point at which you learn the importance of understanding how environmental controls work. So I wrote that scene and then realized that my character knew certain things that other scenes didn't cover so you go back through those other scenes and revise and this is not the way I used to write novels but this is beginning to resemble a story finally. So anyway, that's about it, and other than that, not a lot going on.
